Studying in Leeuwarden

Education can be the first step towards a new career or, indeed, a further step in one’s current career. With more than 30,000 students studying at one of its secondary schools or four, tertiary-level colleges – Leeuwarden is a real student city. And with the development of the Kenniscampus (Knowledge Campus), Leeuwarden will play an even more important role as the centre of learning of the North.
